Copper Nickel Events hall with lanterns and brick walls

Ogden, Utah

Historic charm.
Modern elegance.

A 1906 industrial hall in downtown Ogden — original brick, original trusses, and a canvas for weddings, milestones, business, and nights that linger.

The hall

Six thousand square feet of original character.

Built by John Moses Browning and his brothers around 1906, the Copper Nickel still holds its brick, its painted advertisements, and the high-truss ceiling that made it a working industrial space. Today it is a venue — warm, versatile, and unmistakably Ogden.

More about the venue

You come up Grant Avenue to the brick. Copper Nickel Events is painted on the facade. Copper planters sit at the door. An awning holds the sidewalk. Downtown Ogden is right there — 25th Street a short walk, the neighborhood already part of the night.

Inside, the hall is one open room. Original brick. Original trusses. Paper lanterns and bistro lights hung from the ceiling. Tall windows on the street. A concrete floor wide enough for dinner, dancing, or a car driven in for the photograph.

The north wall still carries the painted advertisements from around 1900. Shoes. Type. Signs nobody painted over. That wall is the backdrop for the head table, the first look, and most of the portraits guests keep.
